Privacy Policy
Last updated November 7, 2026
The short version: Last Call has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. What you enter stays on your phone or in your browser, unless you play in a live room with friends' phones, which passes a few things between the phones in that room and keeps none of it. We don't know what you drink, what you bet, or that you played at all.
This policy explains what the DECK Last Call app and website (decklastcall.com) handle, why, and the choices and rights you have. "Last Call," "we" and "us" mean the developer of DECK Last Call, shown as the seller on its App Store page, who is responsible for your information (the "controller" under European law). You can reach us at email address appears here.
DECK Last Call is a separate product from DECK Card Games, our everyday card game guide, which has its own privacy policy. Both are made by DECK Card Club. Nothing you do in Last Call is shared with DECK Card Games.
What stays on your device
Your settings, the look you picked, the names you type for players, your recent games, your own games and house rules, the last room you joined, and whether you've seen the welcome are saved only on your phone or in your browser's storage. So is your confirmation that you're of legal drinking age and agree to the terms. We can't see any of it. Deleting the app, or clearing your browser's data for the website, removes it. Last Call doesn't use cookies.
This storage is only used to make Last Call work, never to track you.
Last Call also creates a random ID on your device. It isn't connected to your phone number, your Apple Account or any other account. It's only used so a live room can tell phones apart and recognize yours if it reconnects.
Your age and your drinking
Last Call asks you to confirm you're of legal drinking age, but it doesn't ask for your birth date, ID or anything else, and the answer never leaves your device. Last Call never asks about, records or sends anything about what you drink, how much, or what you bet.
What we receive
Last Call doesn't send anything you enter to us. There's no way to share games, and nothing about you is stored on our side.
Live rooms (playing with friends' phones). When you host or join a live room, the phones in that room pass a few things to each other through our real-time service provider: the room code, the names people choose to enter, votes, which group each person is in, the games being considered, the chosen game with its setup and any house rules, whether each phone is using the app or the website, and the random device ID. These messages are relayed live between the phones in the room and aren't saved by Last Call once they've been delivered. Nothing about what anyone drinks or bets is sent. Anyone with the room code can join and see the names entered in it, so only share the code with people you're playing with, and only enter a name you're happy for them to see. Last Call's rooms are separate from DECK Card Games' rooms: a code from one never opens a room in the other.
Loading the website or app. Like any website, our hosting provider sees the technical details needed to deliver the pages, such as your IP address, and may briefly keep them in logs to keep the service secure.
Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use them only to reply, help and follow up. We keep emails only as long as they're useful for that, and we'll delete yours if you ask.
Links to other websites. Some games link to outside sources, such as Wikipedia. If you open one, that website's own privacy policy applies.
Why we use this information (legal bases)
- To provide what you ask for: running live rooms (performance of a contract).
- To keep Last Call working and secure: delivering the website and app (our legitimate interests).
- To answer you and follow the law: replying to your emails (our legitimate interests) and meeting legal obligations (legal obligation).
What we don't do
- No sign-up or accounts.
- No ads, and no advertising or analytics trackers.
- No selling or "sharing" of personal information (as California law defines it), no targeted advertising, and no sharing with advertisers, alcohol or gambling companies, or data brokers.
- No profiling or automated decisions about you, and no AI: nothing you enter is sent to an AI service or used to train one.
- No access to your contacts, photos, camera, location or microphone.
Service providers
Last Call uses Supabase (live rooms), Cloudflare (the website) and Apple (email). They process information only on our behalf, to provide their service. Apple also runs the App Store and handles your downloads under its own privacy policy. If you've chosen in your iPhone's settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may give us crash reports and app statistics in a form that doesn't identify you.
International transfers
Last Call is run from the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. When information from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland is transferred, we rely on our providers' safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we have about you, or to restrict or object to how we use it. Since almost everything stays on your device and live rooms keep nothing, that's usually just emails you've sent us. Email email address appears here with your request. We'll reply within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires, and we won't charge you or treat you differently for asking.
If you're in Europe, the UK or Switzerland: you also have the right to data portability, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We'd appreciate the chance to help first.
If you're in California: in the last 12 months, Last Call has handled these categories of personal information, only as described above: identifiers (the random device ID, and IP addresses in providers' logs), names you choose to enter in live rooms, and emails you choose to send us. We don't sell or share personal information, and we don't use or disclose sensitive personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of; we also respect Global Privacy Control and "Do Not Track" signals by default. You have the rights to know, delete and correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for using them.
Security
Information sent between Last Call and our providers, including live room messages, is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). No service can promise perfect security, but we keep what we handle to a minimum, so there's very little to protect.
Children and anyone underage
Last Call is for adults of legal drinking age, and isn't directed at children or anyone under that age. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone underage. If you believe someone underage has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
If Last Call changes
If we add features that send anything else off your device, we'll update this policy before they launch. If Last Call is ever sold or transferred, the information described here may be transferred with it, and this policy will continue to protect it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll also mention it in the app.
